Wingates Band are pleased to announce that we will be partaking in the production of Brassed Off at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, alongside Eagley Band. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Matt Ryan as the new Musical Director of Wingates Band. Matt joins the band following his previous appointments as conductor of City of Bradford and Flixton Band, and has worked in rehearsal and performance with bands across the country including the world famous Fodens and Grimethorpe Colliery Bands. Eagle-eyed followers of the band may have noticed a few changes to our line-up in recent months as our resident conductor, Andrea Price, has chosen to step down from her position as Musical Director to focus on her alternative musical endeavours and opportunities.
